His first book, A Most Haunted House, was self-published in October 2013 and has sold over 100,000 copies to date across all formats. The book has topped the Kindle charts in the categories of Unexplained Mysteries and Supernatural in the U.K., U.S., Australia, Canada, and Germany. It focuses on a true haunting in his hometown of Haverfordwest.

The book was read and reviewed by the world-renowned Uri Geller, who stated: G. L. Davies has written an amazing account of what seems to be a real haunted house! I was riveted to every page, and I hope the book will be made into a movie someday.

G.L. Davies followed his debut book with the controversial and polarising, Ghost Sex: The Violation. This account presented a raw and gritty account of a Pembrokeshire family’s assault by a vicious and brutal paranormal entity. The descriptions of paranormal sexual assault and abuse were challenging to many.

In response to the backlash, G.L. Davies stated, This is not Fifty Shades of Grey but a brutal and traumatic haunting. Ghost Sex: The Violation is for the hardcore paranormal faithful out there, not your Mills & Boon crowd.

His third book, Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest, received unanimous praise for its in-depth study of multiple encounters that spanned decades in a single house. The book debuted at #1 in several categories across seven countries and has been heralded as one of the most terrifying books ever written.

Theresa Cheung, a bestselling English author, who writes on topics such as spirituality, dreams, and the paranormal and frequently appears on ITV’s This Morning and been named one of the 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People, described Haunted: Horror at Haverfordwest as a mesmerizing account of the author’s experiences living in an allegedly haunted house in Britain. Once started, you can’t put it down. What I appreciate most about it—along with its honesty and eloquence—is that after vividly detailing his spine-chilling experiences, the author explores all possible explanations.

She issued a warning: This book is not for the faint-hearted and has been described as the most frightening ghost story ever written. If you are a fan of The Haunting of Hill House or The Woman in Black, you might want to check it out immediately. But remember, it isn’t fiction—it actually happened.

His latest book, Harvest: The True Story of Alien Abduction, focuses on a woman from Pembrokeshire who believes she was abducted by aliens. What followed was a terrifying ordeal involving alien visitations, nightmarish visions, encounters with frightening creatures, a connection to the past, and a prophecy of destruction on a scale never before seen in Pembrokeshire’s peaceful history. If these events are true, then no one is safe. The harvest has begun…

Harvest is a truly brilliant book—insightful, harrowing, and introspective. Mr. Davies has done a great service to the study of the paranormal, giving us much to ponder as we stay awake at night reflecting on the details of this astonishing narrative – Sylvia True, author of Where Madness lies.

REVIEWS OF HAUNTED: HORROR OF HAVERFORDWEST

Blissful beginnings for a young couple turn into a nightmare after purchasing their dream home in Wales in 1989. Their love and their resolve are torn apart by an indescribable entity that pushes paranormal activity to the limit.

Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest is the prequel to the bestselling A Most Haunted House (Included as a new edit), Dare you step inside…

G L Davies is an author who leads the reader through a gripping account of his own personal haunting which I found to be very interesting. Through his experience, has gained an unusual insight into what can happen to a normal person when they happen across The Paranormal. This chilling read will certainly start to worry the reader and will certainly have them looking behind them at some stage. This is a must read for those looking for explanations. As Demonologist on the TV show Most Haunted, I understand what the author went through. This book should not only make people more aware of what to them was previously unknown but make them think twice about meddling with it. ~     Fred Batt, Most Haunted – TV Series

GL Davies takes us into the real-life terror of a malevolent haunting in the pages of Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest. If you have the intestinal fortitude to venture forward, your bravery will be rewarded with a great, if frightening read. I’d say go for it and pick up your copy today! ~ Jim Harold, Host of The Paranormal Podcast and Jim Harold’s Campfire

This is a Terrifying read, a book that will haunt you long after you have read it. Its builds masterfully, drawing you closer and closer and then the terror hits you. This is a modern paranormal masterpiece, complete with the original A most haunted house and a must-read section on explanations, this is possibly the most important paranormal account of the 21st Century. This is a haunting people will be talking about in a hundred years time and all the while they will say, I hope it didn’t happen in our house. G L Davies is finally back and he has grown as a writer and investigator, this is shocking and chilling brilliance. ~ K-Town, Mysterious Radio.com

G L. Davies is up to his old tricks again in his latest book Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest. His nasty detailed and unimaginable horror scenarios will give some readers nightmares. I interviewed G. L Davies on my YouTube Show before and thoroughly enjoyed his previous work ~ Kevin Moore, The Kevin Moore Show

If you are a paranormal investigator and have not read this book then you are not a real Paranormal Investigator. Raw, real, detailed, gritty and utterly frightening. As it includes the first book, A most haunted house, then this is the UK’s most detailed and prolific modern haunting investigating over twenty years worth of evidence. There are incidents and events that still linger long after reading, things difficult to make sense of, disturbing things that will leave you with you one thought, I hope this never happens to me! The best paranormal book out there, Read it, just not before bed. ~ Nikki Davies, Lead Investigator – Devon Ghost Adventures

The courage it took to tell a story of the supernatural that drove one to the depths of depression is to be admired. G L Davies accounts are raw, real and riveting ~ Jeremy Scott, Into The Parabnormal Radio

I had the pleasure of interviewing G. L Davies on my Radio Show many years ago discussing his first book and my listeners and I were left in awe, but I must say that his current book Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest also did not disappoint. It gave me chills as read it and I was unable to put it down as I was led on a journey through this very twisted Paranormal tale. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the Paranormal and this book will definitely be put on my shows “MUST READ” List. ~ Christina George, Paranormal Connections Radio Show

G L Davies once again takes readers on a terrifying journey into madness and the unknown that will grip believers tightly and shake sceptics to their very core ~ Ashley Shannon, Schlock Tactics podcast

A paralogian to the paranormal is like a theologian to theology. A paralogian should have a good understanding of paranormal history, theory, & application. It is clearly evident that G L Davies not only has a real solid understanding of the different kinds of paranormal activity & phenomena people may experience, but he also understands the impact in which that said phenomena can have on an individual’s psychological well being as well as the parasociological implications for the surrounding family unit. G L Davies is a true paralogian through & through. Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest is a testament to that statement & a real pleasure to digest. I enjoyed this immensely. ~ Kevin Malek, Paranormal Historian & Ufologist; Founder Of The Northern Wisconsin Paranormal Society Ltd & Co-Host for Paraversal Universe on the LNM Radio Network.

At Black Lotus, we pride ourselves in the exhaustive research we put into each of our episodes. Too often, people will not do the necessary legwork and research that is inherently required when investigating the paranormal. They simply parrot what others are saying and offer nothing new. This is why it was such a pleasure to discover G. L. Davies’ Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest. Written as an interview with the previous tenants of the house in which Davies once resided, it is not your typical haunted house story. While maintaining the integrity required of such research, Davies also writes with a human compassion that is rarely found among other paranormal explorers. Amazing work! We loved it!! ~ Damian Gray & Ralph Torlucc, Black Lotus Media Productions

Few of us will ever experience the paranormal in our own home. Where a place of sanctuary becomes strange and we fear for our own sanity. G L Davies takes us on a journey through the unknown with extraordinary clarity and humility. Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest will appeal to those interested in the paranormal, as well as those who want to know more about how such experiences can help us grow as a person. Life is for the living, not the dead. ~ Claire Elliot, The Claire Witch Files

G L. Davies has done it again! Having experienced his previous work I can only say that “Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest” is the natural progression to the level of master in development of suspense & the building of shock & disbelief, all leading to the realization that these horrific paranormal experiences truly DO exist! ~ Kat Hobson, Paranormal Experienced Radio

G L Davies masterfully brings the terror of living in a real haunted house to life again as he returns to the Horror of Haverfordwest! ~ Jason Bland, Paranormal Soup – LNM radio

“G L Davies is a masterful author who, once again, leads the reader through a gripping account of the paranormal. Genuinely worrying and chilling. This is a MUST read and the section on the rationale behind the haunting is worth the read alone.” ~ Dave Dominguez, – Event Horizon online Radio

  1. I really need help. I have never believed in evil or demonic beings. We have from time to time experienced small happenings in this house, it never bothered us before. But for the past 5 months I have been having trouble with someone touching me when I lay down for bed. I used to feel safe and happy in my room, but now I refuse to be there unless I have to sleep. I have a three year old son seeing things. I made a video 2 days ago while sleeping and I have never seen something so scary. It’s a shadow above my bed shaking my covers and reaching toward me. I have no idea how to deal with this. Please contact me to at the least help me with putting me in the right direction. I feel my life is being threatened.334-300-0491 please contact me.

  2. Brother, I come from the Islamic faith, this or these entities are a givin fact, Jinn (Arabic: الجن , al-jinn), there are different types and shapes, simply creation of Allah all mighty, says clearly in the holly Quran how they can view us where we can’t, and our profit Mohammed (PBUH) taught us how they run through our bodies like blood, lots of facts are available to us about them, however we were armed with the knowledge, given the tools to deal with them, tampering with the paranormal for entertainment purposes is not all a good idea,
If interested In more, you are welcomed to visit at any of Islamic Centers near you, best of luck 🙂

  3. My name is Jamie Gestrich, I heard you on Coast to Coast last night and felt at home with your experiences. I enjoyed listening and was nice to hear from another who went through the same emotions I experienced during our journey in the haunted house we grew up in north of Pittsburgh, Pa. We (myself, my sister and brother) grew up in a house that dad called the “Halfway House ” between this world and the spiritual realm. The house was haunted. The house changed him in personality. He became a drunk and was involved in black witchcraft and Satanism. He bought the house when I was 5 years old in 1961. Several families bought it prior to his purchase but quickly left the house once they came across the spirits in the house. Dad came across the house when he had a dream of a friend who came to him and told him to buy his home. Dad learned after the dream that his friend had died of a heart attack months before the dream. The first night in the house, my parents and older teenage brothers were out moving belongings from the trailer park where we lived. They were in jeans and sweatshirts. My sister was 10 years old, I was 5 and my younger brother was 2. The house was “L” shape. The front door opened in the middle of the hallway facing straight ahead into a bedroom, to the right was the master bedroom at the end of the hallway and to the left at the other end was the living room. My little brother was asleep in the master bedroom and my sister and I were in the living room sitting on the couch talking. It was around 9pm in the evening. Our brother began to cry for his bottle. My sister told me to go give it to him. I refused. We began to argue on who was going to give the brother the bottle. While arguing, we heard the front door open and close. We called out to our mom thinking they were back, no answer then we heard the footsteps walking down the hallway towards the master bedroom where our little brother was. It was the clicking of high heels walking. We heard the bedroom door open, the baby’s voice get louder and then get quiet as the bottle was given to him. We heard the sucking of him with his bottle. The clicking began to walk again. The door closed and the clicking came down the hallway and into the living room right up to the couch where we were sitting. NO ONE WAS THERE!!! We jumped into each other’s arm crying hysterically not understanding what it was and why it was there. Several minutes after this our parents came home and we told them what just happened. Dad did not believe us. Mom took up for us not knowing what to believe. THAT was our first encounter with the unknown in the house. For the next 13 years we lived in fear and I experienced being violently thrown off the bed by a growling spirit, being visited by something on the bed at night, objects being moved violently, footsteps in the second floor and voices of what sounded like a party. That is only a small part of our home. Another part was watching dad change into a depressed alcoholic bent on beating us and abusing our mother to near death. I was shot at age 6 by his .38 in a drunken rage. I share these things not for pity but for you to understand that you are not alone and there is an answer to over power these spirits. At the age of 18, I became a Christian in secret due to my parents involvement with the occult. I did not understand the impact this was making in the home due to my lack of knowledge. All I knew at the time was when I returned home after that morning conversion, dad took one look and said it will not last in his home. Several months later, my brother and I were kicked out of the house by dad. We went to live with my sister temporarily until we could figure out what to do. She had married and was a Christian as well but not my brother. He was 15 at the time and we had to go to court for my sister to have custody of my brother or else he would have to return to home with dad. We won the battle in court showing child abuse by dad. After that I joined the Marines. Since then I have learned how to address these spirits and have come across them since in working with others. I became a youth minister and then moved on to become a Probation Counselor in a juvenile detention center. Many positive experiences have been a part of my journey assisting others to be free from their situations spiritually. One story which occurred about 4 years ago was in the juvenile detention center. The mental health therapist was new and had heard of some of the work I had done with the kids. We have MS 13 mostly from El Salvador. She asked me if I would speak with a new resident who has a voice on his right shoulder telling him to hurt others. She wanted a layman’s point of view. She suspected a possible schizophrenic but he did not have all the classic signs. So I agreed to do it. I went to the cell room where he was and opened the door asking if I could speak with him. He said he knew I was coming. I asked if the therapist told him I was coming and he said it was the voice that told him. I laughed so hard knowing exactly what I was dealing with, my old friends from home of whom I have no fear of anymore but of power. I do respect the spirits and have a healthy fear of what they can do. I asked the boy to share more about the voice. He said the voice was afraid of 2 people in his life. I asked who. He said his father because he was a Christian. I asked who the other one was and he said it was me. I had never met with him before. He said the voice had to leave his room when I arrived. I shared that which is unholy has to leave when the Holy Spirit arrives. I shared that as a believer I have the Holy Spirit in me and the unholy spirits cannot be in the same room with the Holy One. I explained the process of how to become a believer in Christ and that he needs to do it with his father as a gift to his dad as well as for himself. I explained the spirit would leave him as the result of his becoming a believer because the Holy Spirit will come inside him as his companion. We finished and I went to speak with the therapist. I shared what happened and as I did she squinted her eyes listening intently. I asked what the story was with him. She shared he came to America from El Salvador with his father. While in El Salvador at the age of 6, the father took him to a shaman asking to place a spirit on him to protect him from evil and the shaman did. The father did this before he became a Christian. Years later in America, the father became a believer and that was when problems began between him and the boy with the spirit. The boy did pray with his father and the spirit left.
I share some of this for you to know I am sane and not a “want to be” warrior in this realm. My brother was possessed and became a believer and is now a pastor. When I came home from boot camp in the marines, I came home to him tied to a bed at his request after while under attack by the demons in him causing him throw a 400 pound deacon across the room damaging the wall and hurting the deacon. My brother was only 140 pounds. We had a gentleman working with him who was trained in the demon possession as well as the pastor in support in prayers. That time was the most difficult for me because it was all new to me. The exposure to such a realm and trying to learn how live in this world was unbelievable in trying to share it with anyone. That was the beginning of an awesome journey. I am 62 now and have many many stories to tell! With that, thank you for the work you do! If there is anything I can contribute or answer I would enjoy doing so! I hope this is not too strong in message but life is short and to do what is needed to help others is most important!
One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 33: Call unto me and I will answer and show you great and mighty things, things you do not know…we call it God’s telephone number!
God be with you in all you do!
    Respectfully,
    Jamie

  4. Amending Previous Comment to Add; the “Jellyfish-like creature’s” I Am Unfortunately Familiar With and do have photos and my own personal experiences with such encounters.

  5. Recently watching The Leak Project where you Mr. Gavin Davies was a guest speaker. Becoming transfixed when you mentioned “Jellyfish-like creature’s” in your most recent book entitled Harvest.
To the best of my knowledge “I’ve never been abducted” however I’ve had a Very Disturbing and Repeated Dream somewhat in format to Miss Susans. In- fact I have had Visitations “in this worldly realm” of such “Jellyfish-like creature’s” to which I Do Have In My Possession photos, DVD activities, testimonials of witnesses, doctor’s reports and 1 vet report reference of my poor little Poodle who also had been attacked invasively.
I Absolutely and Unequivocally Can Relate to Miss Susans dismay in being Ridiculed and Smeared as Mental, as I to have gone through this “to the point where a Professional Phycologist did in-fact evaluate me for several hours with the end result Does Show Very Favorable that I Am In Full Mental Capacity being Mentally Intact (Healthy) and I do also have these results (7 pages worth w/many duplicate copies in safe keeping).
Having moved away from my familiar surroundings of over 50+ years, I now reside in a Very Small community of 25 residents in a totally different state in USA, away from everything and everybody (to hide if you will, realizing however that that in and of itself is a false sense of hope “for once you’ve been tagged you’re never truly safe”!
PLEASE Mr. Gavin Davies reach out to me and I can/will help to “dot the i’s and cross the t’s” in your quest for answers.
Wanting ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for myself but to rather add credence to what Miss Susan has already bravely come forward with.
Thank you and GOD BLESS Us All and Keep Us Safe from harm’s way💞🙏🏼
