‘Ghost of Sir Winston Churchill’ photographed ‘stalking’ man on the London Underground

If you ever feel like you’re being watched or get a cold shiver down your spine, you might sense that a spirit is close by – but most people wouldn’t bet on being in the company of a former prime minister.

A 23-year-old coach driver believes he has captured the ghost of none other than Sir Winston Churchill frequenting a platform on the London Underground during a stay in the capital.

Craig Cooper was travelling back to his hotel when he found himself alone in Queenway station at around midnight – but as he sat waiting for his train, he began to feel a presence looming over him. On edge, he says he stood up, only to feel like someone was stood behind him, and so he stood with his back against the platform wall until his tube arrived.

Luckily, Craig had happened to take a photograph of the platform when he arrived so he could send it to his girlfriend, who has never been on the underground/And when he sent it to her, what should he see? The figure of a bald man stood in the centre of the shot.

Churchill utilised the disused Down Street tube station as a bunker during the Second World War, which is on the other side of Hyde Park, however there were sightings and alleged ‘haunting manifestations’ of him at Queensway station during the 1980s.

Craig, who captured the image last summer, said: “I was very unnerved. If I had seen that while down there I would have run straight back up the steps very quickly. I’m a big believer in stuff like this but never ever seen anything like this before.

“Since then I have heard stories that people have seen the ghost of William Churchill down there. I know he had a bunker in a tube station nearby so it could have been him. Quite a few mediums I have shown the picture to have said the same thing. Some have said it could just be a reflection but the majorities have said they think it is genuine. It could not have been a reflection as the figures hands were by his sides and if I was taking the picture mine could not have been in that position. There was no one else down there.”

And now Craig, from Caerphilly in South Wales, thinks twice about hitching a ride on the tube when he’s in the capital.  Craig said: “I caught a taxi for the rest of that week while I was there. I would go on the London underground again at rush hour fine but not at night. Friends have had a bit of a laugh and taken the mickey out of me about it a bit if I’m honest. But the feelings I had down there were not nice.”

Did viewers really spot a ‘ghost’ haunting the BBC Breakfast studio?

Viewers were spooked out when they thought they saw a spectral presence on BBC Breakfast.

A dark shape passed across the camera lens during a show interview with Jo Horton, star of Channel 4’s The People Next Door. Shortly after, one of the presenters Louise Minchin turned her head towards the camera, as if sensing the passing presence. But a BBC spokesperson has now cleared up the vision without the need for calling in Mulder or Scully.

They said: ‘This was an effect on a filter of the camera relating to the lighting switching on. You can see a red spotlight at the top of the screen changing to a star effect, so it’s just a technical thing.

Indeed, you can see the focus on the lights at the top of the studio change after the dark shadow has disappeared. But that may have just been a coincidence.

Conspiracy theory? The truth is out there, people..

A video which seems to show a “strange creature” in the Thames has divided the internet over whether it is a whale, a submarine or the Loch Ness Monster.

The YouTube clip, taken from the Emirates Air Line cable car, shows a long dark shape which appears to have two humps emerging from the river.

After a brief glimpse, it disappears back beneath the murky water in front of The O2 in Greenwich.

YouTube user Penn Plate, who took the video, wrote: “Something huge was moving under the water and then briefly surfaced.

“Are there whales in the Thames?? Or is it some weird submarine?” asked one citizen.

One wrote: “If you slow it down enough and pause it, kind of looks like a pod of dolphins or porpoises.

“But there’s still a huge shadow under the water that just looks like one giant sea creature, and it’s way more exciting to think that it’s some crazy undiscovered ancient beast that’s probably going to crawl out of the river and start eating people and toppling buildings, so I’m gonna go with that. ”

Others speculated it might have been the mythical Loch Ness Monster a long way from home.

“Straight up godzilla’s tail right there,” wrote another viewer.

But many people are sceptical about the video and questioned why it had been filmed in such a clumsy way.

UFO hot spot? Strange footage captures mysterious object flying close to volcano in Mexico just days after it erupted

Strange footage has captured a mysterious flying object cutting through the sky close to the mouth volcano just days after it erupted. Cameras spotted the white object, followed by streaks of smoke, flying behind Popocatepetl in Mexico, before passing out the other side.

The sighting, captured by a 24-hour webcam focused on the 18,000ft mountain every day since last week, has prompted UFO hunters to suggest that it could be a sign of extra-terrestrial life.

It is not the first time a strange object has been seen flying around Popocatepetl, with other sightings logged in October last year and in 2014. The suggestion that alien life forms could be paying us a visit was rubbished by WebcamsDeMexico.com, which made the clip and posted it online.

It tweeted: ‘This is what could be seen at Popocatepetl. We believe it was a plane.’

However, it would be unusual for a plane to fly so close to such a dangerous site and conspiracy theorists often claim to make alleged UFO sightings at volcanoes.

They suggest aliens are studying Earth’s geothermal activity so that they can understand how it works.

Another theory is that the bright lights could be volcanic material being ejected or an atmospheric phenomenon.

In a more radical suggestion, some scientists say the material from which these UFOs are formed could trigger hallucinations, which may explain bizarre first hand accounts of alien sightings.

After watching Popocatepetl’s latest encounter, viewers have been split on whether or not UFOs are flying in our skies, reports the Mirror. Angel Ramiro Rodriguez said: ‘I do think there is life on other planets. We’d be very selfish to think we are the only ones in the immensity of the universe.’

Abraham Vazkez Gomez added: ‘I don’t think it’s a plane because the airport is 30 km (19 miles) from the volcano of Popocatepetl towards the northeast and when a commercial plane flies around volcanoes, they set a 7 or 8,000-meter altitude.’

‘Ghost bride’ filmed hovering spookily at horror crash hotspot where newlywed died 27 years ago

People who live in the area believe the apparition could be the victim of a road accident back in 1989 .A spooked out motorist believes she’s captured on video the ghost of a dead bride hovering at a crash hotspot where a newlywed died almost three decades ago.

Ms Dmitrieva, who was travelling with another woman, checked her dashcam which appeared to confirm that she really had seen something. But the driver who recorded the haunting footage believes that the spectre she saw could have been a victim from 27 years ago. The clip has been called a “sensation” by paranormal investigators and is going viral online after being uploaded to video-sharing websites.

Driver Karina Dmitrieva, from Moscow, spotted the silhouette of what she thought was a young woman in a wedding gown and a veil on the road.

The sighting occurred on the road, between the towns of Lyubertsy and Lytkarino in western Russia’s Moscow Oblast regionLocals said there was a horrific accident, involving a wedding cortege, in 1989. The newlyweds were on their way to a park to celebrate with friends when their car smashed into a lorry on a bend.

The groom survived but the bride was killed. Paranormal investigator Ilya Sagliani, of the ‘Laboratory of the Unknown’, said there had since been a number of sightings of a ghostly bride at the scene. Two years ago, we got a picture of a barely visible silhouette of a young woman standing on the side of the road. This video is a real sensation. I’ve been studying this infamous road for a good eight years.”

NASA ‘cuts space station video’ immediately after bizarre UFO hovers above Earth

THIS is the moment a huge UFO was caught on NASA’s live video feed from the International Space Station (ISS) before suddenly the footage ‘cut out’ without explanation.

A space enthusiast has come across what could be an astonishing visit from aliens. An unnamed alien hunter recorded the UFO while watching the live feed from the International Space Station earlier this week.

However, the mysterious video of the giant UFO took a strange turn after the ISS video feed suddenly went dead for nearly an hour just as the bizarre flying object came into view. The “clearly defined UFO” appeared emerging above the horizon of Earth before it “disappeared completely from sight”.

The enthusiast said the speed of the object “had to be in the tens of thousands of miles per hour. “He described the bizarre sighting on Tuesday as “unquestionably real and present” and raised suspicions after “NASA cut the live feed for nearly an hour” just as the UFO vanished.

The sighting has sparked a frenzy online with hundreds claiming the video shows proof of aliens. The alien claim follows several other occasions when NASA has suddenly and without explanation stopped its live stream from space.

However, critics on social media claimed the sighting was “just a reflection off part of the ISS”.
